Instructions
Preheat Your Oven: Place the oven rack in the lower third position and preheat to 350°F (177°C). Spray a 9×9-inch or 11×7-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
Whisk the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, maple syrup, melted butter, applesauce, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt.
Add the Berries: Gently fold in the berries. If desired, sprinkle the nuts on top of the mixture or mix them in.
Bake to Perfection: Pour the oatmeal mixture into the prepared pan. Bake for about 35 minutes or until the center is almost set (for softer oatmeal). If you want it drier, let it bake until the center has fully set.
Cool and Serve: Let the baked oatmeal cool for 5 minutes before serving. For extra creaminess, serve with yogurt.
