Ingredients
  

  • Fajita Seasoning:
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Fajitas:
  • 2 small yellow onions or one large
  • 3 bell peppers any colors you like
  • 1 lb. chicken breast
  • 2 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 lime
  • 8 6- inch tortillas whole grain or low-carb, if desired
  • 1/2 cup sour cream optional
  • 1/4 bunch cilantro optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400ºF and mix all fajita spices in a small bowl.
  • Slice onions, bell peppers, and chicken into thin strips.
  • Place chicken and veggies on a large baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with oil, sprinkle with seasoning, and toss everything to coat evenly.
  • Spread the mixture in a single layer across the pan.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, stirring once halfway through for even cooking.
  • Once done, squeeze lime juice over everything for a burst of freshness.
  • Serve in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings like sour cream or fresh cilantro.
